About ZL Custom Wedges 

Made from S20C forged carbon steel, our raw heads with a milled face provide optimal spin and feel around the greens. ZL wedges are customised and hand finished by myself in England. Offering a timeless shape and design with the loft you require. You can either purchase a pre-finished set via my online shop or if you have something more specific in mind, you can purchase 'A custom order', and I will be in touch to discuss your project further.

 

Forged not cast

Forged steel is generally much stronger than cast steel and will therefore handle impact better. This, along with being made from carbon steel which is tougher than stainless, makes them perfect for playing of golf.

 

Specs

All wedges have a 0.372" inner hosel dimension. 

• 50 degree wedge: 9 degrees of bounce
• 52 degree wedge: 10 degrees of bounce
• 54 degree wedge: 10 degrees of bounce
• 56 degree wedge: 12 degrees of bounce
• 58 degree wedge: 12 degrees of bounce
• 60 degree wedge: 8 degrees of bounce

 

 Care

All wedges are raw and will therefore patina and wear over time. To prolong this I strongly recommend cleaning with a soft brush i.e. toothbrush and oiling after every use. WD40, any anti rust oil or believe it or not vegetable/olive oil will do just as good of a job. There is no PVD coatings or chrome/nickel plating used on ZL wedges. Therefore the micro milling and groove edges stay sharp - helping create more spin and provide a true feel.
